Reliance Big TV in marketing tie-up
Reliance Big TV has entered into a marketing alliance with Fox Star Studios for the India release of James Cameron's Avatar.
As per the pact, the DTH service provider will showcase exclusive interviews with James Cameron and the stars of Avatar as well as exclusive videos of behind-the-scenes of the film.
To air new TVC
Reliance Big TV is creating a new TV commercial with the visual imagery from the movie.
According to Mr Umesh Rao, Senior Vice-President, Reliance Big TV, the 30-second TVC is made in English and expected to go on air across 12 English channels, including Times Now, AXN, Star World, Star Movies, Channel V and HBO, from December 15.
Offers free content
The tie-up with Fox Star Studios is part of Reliance Big TV's larger content strategy to introduce niche and unique content on its DTH platform.
As part of this alliance, Reliance Big TV will also premiere exclusive Avatar content from December 15 on its platform.
This content will be offered free of cost to its subscribers.
Special promo zones
Besides, Fox Star Studios and Reliance Big TV are creating special promotional zones across cities at key multiplexes.
Apart from this, tie-ups with Baskin Robbins and Big Cinemas have been finalised to create these exclusive zones delivering unique consumer interactions, said Mr Rao.
